Pastor Scott Catchot has been in ministry in one form or another for the majority of his life. From mission trips, drama teams, choir, playing in praise teams, children’s ministry to pastor he has done a little bit of it all. He was part of a unique team of 4 ministers that oversaw 6 different churches for a while living into being a modern day circuit rider. Most recently Scott is coming from serving in Athens, Texas at Wesley UMC. 

Scott married his long time friend and soul mate Jo in 2011. Together they have a his, her, our total of 8 kids, with only 3 still left in the home, Seraiah, Judah, and Zebadiah. They both enjoy a variety of fandoms ranging from Comics, Sci-fi, Martial Arts, and the outdoors. Given enough time you will probably get to hear about some of it, or come across it in their social media. 

  In the realm of Academia, Scott has a Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies from SFA and was a school teacher for 15 years.He also pursued a Bachelor’s of Arts from Chazah School of Ministry. He went on to get a dual Masters Degree in Counseling from LeTourneau University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Scott also has a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at SMU.
